About BioAgeIQ

Our Mission

BioAgeIQ exists to help people understand their biological age and make evidence-based decisions about supplements and longevity tools. The supplement industry is worth billions and filled with marketing noise — we cut through it with independent analysis grounded in peer-reviewed research.

We believe that understanding your biological age — not just the number of years you've lived — is one of the most actionable things you can do for your long-term health. Our goal is to make that science accessible, practical, and free from commercial bias.

Editorial Standards

Every claim on BioAgeIQ is grounded in peer-reviewed research. We link to primary sources — not press releases or brand websites. When the evidence is mixed or preliminary, we say so. When a product doesn't live up to its marketing claims, we say that too.

We update our content when new research is published. Dates at the top of each article reflect the most recent review. We never accept payment to change a rating, alter editorial conclusions, or publish sponsored content without clear disclosure.

Our review process: we cross-reference ingredient formulas against published clinical data and manufacturer documentation, and score on a 10-point scale weighted for evidence quality, bioavailability, third-party testing, and value. We do not conduct hands-on product testing; every rating is a source-based analysis.

Methodology

Source basis. Every assessment draws, in priority order, on: manufacturer specifications and documentation; official documentation such as Certificates of Analysis; peer-reviewed research on the relevant ingredients and biomarkers; regulatory and third-party certification sources (NSF Certified for Sport, USP, WADA lists, HPLC purity reports); and explicitly named third-party tests where these are actually published.

Scoring method. Products are scored on a 10-point scale weighted for evidence quality, bioavailability, third-party testing, and value. Scores reflect the strength and quality of documented evidence — never personal experience. Where the evidence is mixed or preliminary, the score and text say so.

What BioAgeIQ does. We compile and compare published specifications, certifications and research; we rank products by documented evidence; and we flag when marketing outruns the data.

What BioAgeIQ does not do. We do not conduct hands-on or physical product testing, do not personally use or purchase products for review, and do not employ medical or expert reviewers. No content is medically reviewed. Any wording implying otherwise has been removed or rewritten to source-based analysis.

Affiliate independence. BioAgeIQ participates in affiliate programs. Affiliate relationships never influence ratings, recommendations or conclusions. Products are assessed the same way regardless of whether an affiliate program exists, and negative assessments are published for products we do have relationships with.

Correction routine. Errors are corrected at the authoritative source and regenerated deterministically — never patched in isolation. Claims that imply undocumented testing, use or review are blocked at build time by a fail-closed claim policy (see our evidence registry). To report an issue, use the contact page; corrections are logged with the update date on the affected page.

How BioAgeIQ analyzes
Source-based analysis

BioAgeIQ does not conduct hands-on product testing and does not employ product reviewers who use the products personally. Every assessment is a source-based analysis built from manufacturer specifications and documentation, third-party certifications (e.g. NSF, USP), published peer-reviewed research, and aggregated publicly reported user data. Ratings reflect the strength and quality of that documented evidence, not personal experience.

Affiliate Disclosure

BioAgeIQ participates in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates (tracking ID: bioageiq-20), Fullscript, Thorne, AG1, Whoop, Oura, and others. When you purchase through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial ratings, recommendations, or conclusions. Products are reviewed the same way regardless of whether an affiliate program exists. We review products we don't have affiliate relationships with, and we give negative assessments of products we do.
